The Day Of Big Moments

To say I’m thankful is a huge understatement. My baby boy asked me for MULK, almond milk today. He has made so many improvements and is trying so many things. The smile that he gives me warms every part of my heart.
Today when we came home Owen ran and got me the remote for the TV. I told him I need the other remote and he actually responded, got the remote and handed it to me. These moments are huge because he normally doesn’t take direction.
In his speech class today he actually took directions from his teacher as well. Owen hasn’t really done a lot of role play with toys so when his teacher asked him to feed the baby and he took the bottle to feed the baby I was totally surprised. Then he actually tried to feed it to my too. I was so impressed with his progress.
He is starting to say so many things. Animals, animal sounds, colors, numbers, letters, food, body parts, are just a few of his new words. The one word that was music to my ears was MULK! After he ate his dinner he started playing and then he stood up and with that one simple word he melted my heart and he brought me to tears.
Today was a big day. Today was a huge day. Today was a day I have been waiting for. My baby boy has learned so many things in the last month. I wake up every morning excited to see what the day will bring.

I'm Lynn Browder. Owen's Mommy. The best moments in time are when I get to see the smile on his face and that giggle come from his heart.
