He was ready to get to his middle school but he still thought he was going back to his old school and saying hello to his previous teacher. I hope he gets it out of his system and will be back to talking only about his middle school. We got ready and off he went to middle school.
When he came home from school he darted past me and immediately stood in his spot to tell the bus bye. He loves watching them turn the corner. He came back to me and checked to see if he was going to his grandma’s tomorrow.
He was very calm except for how many times he talked about seeing his previous teacher and saying “You know the answer.” He wanted me to tell him an answer but I kept telling him I couldn’t because I didn’t know what the question was. He calmed down even more when I told him I didn’t know the answer so we couldn’t talk about it anymore.
The nighttime went fast and he was very happy. The laughter was my favorite part of the day. He was singing nursery rhymes in many languages. I was thankful for the laughter and the many great he gave me. He got up from bed numerous times, but then he went quickly to sleep. Dream the big dream, follow your heart, and watch how your world changes. Smiles to all and donut daze!
