I sit here and watch my baby sleeping and wonder what he dreams about. He has found a new love, the remote control. He hands it to me when he wants to watch something. And then he picks it up and hands it to me again when he doesn’t want to watch something. Then he holds the remote control when he doesn’t want me to change it. He has got this down.
Tonight was the night for shapes. He didn’t want the alphabet or animals dancing on his screen, just the shapes. So shapes we watched and watched some more.
Owen is getting really good about trying to say his shapes. He recognizes his favorites and you can easily see the thought process going strong. He loves circles and ovals and gets very excited when they are on. His mouth makes the O shape as soon as he sees the oval.
Thankful that my baby is so excited to learn, so engaged in the process and trying new things every day. This is a big world and he is ready to explore. I can’t wait for what tomorrow will bring.
